Poems and Poetry: You're My Heart

60

By tonymodus

You Stole My Heart

What have I done that you were

Sent to earth for the express purpose

Of stealing my heart

You’re like a potent wine that has

Gone to my head

I cherish you as something rare and precious

You ‘re not a mere woman in my opinion

You’re the very essence of the perfect

Womanhood

You’re as radiant as rainbow in the sky

You’re more magnetic than magnet

Your movement seemed as fluid as rippling

Water flowing over a submerged stone

I’m amazed by the depth of your beauty.

The poem is ok, but needs a bit of work I think, just give it a read through or two, and you'll see what I mean.

The 'rainbow' line in particular, and 'movement' one especially. Maybe its your writing style of poetry, well anyhow good job though overall.

Thanks for sharing it with us all, I'll try a few more of your hubs, soon.
