No matter how many times

I tell myself that I can trust you

That it doesn’t matter when

I see you with someone else

I’ve found out I can’t live with that

Feeling, try as I may, I still can’t

I can’t live wondering who you are

With when you are not with me

I can’t live wondering if you’ll be

There for me when I need you

I want someone who is going

To be by me all the same in

Such a way he’s not there

For anyone else.
